INSTRUMENTS:

Ibanez SR506
IBANEZ SR506

This is my main bass. 6-strings of pure awesomeness. Great tone, great feel, bought for $480 from a much larger list price because I had a buddy who worked at Guitar Center (though they're not going any friend discounts anymore, and if employees are caught giving discounts, they get fired on the spot. You've been warned!). With 3-band EQ and a pick up balancer, I can find tons of tones. 100% Grade-A fap.

Yamaha RBX775
YAMAHA RBX775

I've played this bass for the majority of my musical career. I still use basses with less than 6-strings, because the sheer girth of the 6-string's neck is not ideal for certain styles of music.

ESP EX-250
ESP EX-250

My main guitar, and the only axe that I have that I always have to put on a guitar stand to make the neck vertical :(. Fairly mid-grade instrument, embellished with an Evolution Bridge pickup. I use this guitar most of the time, for both Rhythm and Lead.

BC Rich Bich
BC RICH BICH BRONZE SERIES

Awwww yeah. Now we're talking. A real piece of crap suped-up to be a sort of piece of crap. This guitar used to be entirely out of commission. But, some Shadow Cast music was written for use with 7-string guitars. Because I was recording the music, I decided to take in this bastard child and get it completely fixed with an X2N placed in the bridge spot. It is now a Baritone guitar and serves to be the lowest 6-strings on a 7-string guitar. Strictly rhythm. No lead. Any tunings you find on my tracks that are lower than Drop C are on this guitar.

EQUIPMENT:

Line 6 PODX3
LINE 6 PODX3 LIVE

What I use for all my Guitar and Bass Tones. A real blessing for independent Guitarists and Bassists. Couldn't live without it.

Firepod
PRESONUS FIREPOD

Complete with leftover gift cards and screwdriver. This is an 8-channel Firewire audio interface that allows me to record 8 simultaneous channels of anything I want. I use it for vocals, drums, keyboards, random sounds, or whatever other tracks that are not bass or guitar.

Bass amp
FENDER BASSMAN 100

Most likely not of any interest for any of you who know me online only. It's not involved in recordings, but it's powerful live and has a great tone. A couple knobs are bent and broken, sadly.

Roland RD-700SX
ROLAND RD-700SX

A great 88-key synthesizer with good sounds and weighted almost perfectly. I use this mostly for MIDI controlling and use sounds from my VST libraries, but I have used a few sounds on the keyboard.

HARDWARE:

Main computer: ADK 1Q SR, 2.4GHz Duo Core processor, 4GB RAM, Windows XP x64, awesomeness.

Secondary computer: Dell Dimension 4500, 1GB RAM, 2.0GHz Intel Pentium 4, Windows XP, piece of crap.

Monitors: None. I have to mix by finding happy mediums between a crappy 25 dollar pair of listening headphones, my PC speakers, and my large PA speakers. But from what people tell me, it could be a lot worse. Be a judge for yourself.

SOFTWARE:

-CUBASE SX3-
Recording and most sequencing.

-FLSTUDIO-
Occasional sequencing, used more for electronica and techno.

-GUITAR PRO-
Helps write out my ideas.

-ADOBE PREMIERE PRO CS3-
Favored video editing software.

-ADOBE DREAMWEAVER CS3-
Used for web design. I am fluent in HTML, but Dreamweaver templates help me update multiple pages at once, something I was too stupid to do in the past.

-TOONTRACK SUPERIOR DRUMMER/SUPERIOR DRUMMER 2.0-
Used for the drum tracks in all of my songs. I still use DFH2 and EZDrummer/DFH EZX, but for minor uses. Right now it's entirely sequenced, but I plan on getting my hands on a set of V-Drums and playing them that way.

-EWQL COLOSSUS-
A great sampler sampler; a large collection of some of EWQL's samplers. Most libraries here I have in their respective original libraries, but other libraries, such as the new Stormdrone, Voices of the Apocalypse, pad sounds and others I have used in my songs.

-EWQL SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA GOLD/GOLD PRO XP-
A stunning collection of unsynthesized orchestral instruments. They're real, just sampled. Used and will be used in many tracks.

-EWQL SYMPHONIC CHOIRS-
Yet to be used in my tracks. I have yet to master this insane program, but I will figure it out.

-EWQL STORMDRUM-
Used for the loud, low Taiko drums and metallic sounds in a couple of my songs.

-NATIVE INSTRUMENTS B4 II, FM7 & PRO53-
Used for organ and synthesizer patches.
